Library and Information Service

The Central Library is spread over a floor space of about 1200 sq. mtrs.

The Central Library stocks more than 10,000 books of various subjects in medical and allied health sciences. Reputed journals, both Indian and foreign are available in departmental libraries. The total number of books in the central and departmental library runs over 10,000 titles.

Computerized catalogues of the library holdings as well as a card index are available for the students. Further, there is provision of modern bar code and Online Public Access Catalogue (OPAC) technology to facilitate for user friendly, quick and easy search facility for the students and faculty.

Students are encouraged to avail other facilities like e-mail, internet, CD-ROM browsing & photocopying. Ample and separate reading space has been provided to both the students and faculty along with comfortable seating arrangements. Besides the Central Library all the departments, pre-clinical and clinical have been provided with departmental libraries which are well stocked with standard text books and other works of reference.

Seminar Hall

State-of-the-art spacious, well ventilated and furnished halls along with facilities like LCD and OHP projectors, screens, white-boards are available for delivering lectures.

Auditorium

The college has a well furnished auditorium with a seating capacity of 500 people for conducting CME Programmes.

Examination Hall

The college has ample number of spacious examination halls to conduct the University examinations.

Hostel

Separate hostels are available for men and women students. The rooms are well furnished with attached bathrooms. A hygienic Mess facility is available round the clock.

Cafeteria

The cafeteria / restaurant caters north and south Indian food and beverages to the students community and the faculty.

Gymnasium

The college offers round the clock gymnasium facilities to the students. The gym is equipped with multi-gym (12 stations), Smith machine, Breacher curls, arm machines, bench press, flat benches, bars, dumb-bells, plates, dip stands and host of other equipments for the students to utilize and stay fit and healthy.

Co-curricular

The Departments of Sports in the college is one of the dynamic departments that nurture the sportive spirit in the students. The department has conducted various sports competitions like track and field events as well as indoor games. Every year annual sports events are organized and all the students and college staff are encouraged to participate in the events.

The sports department also conducts regular courses in the morning and evening hours in the gymnasium for the students and staff alike.

Extra-curricular

The college motivates the student community to participate in extra-curricular activities through frequent cultural, arts and literary events. The extra-curricular activities foster the all-round development of the students.

Transport

The college has its own fleet of buses that ply to and from various vantage points in the city. The buses are available to facilitate easy travel for the students and staff residing outside the college campus.
