In the department of Forensic medicine at RRMC & H, we have been provided with an autopsy block having two constructed autopsy table with running water facility and two metal tables in cases of emergency. We also have a cold storage facility capable to accommodate six dead bodies at a time. The department is well equipped with the required instruments and infrastructure as per the MCI capable to handle any type of Medico legal problems/cases. Museum of our department has around 100 wet specimens, 20 wax models, 300 photographs of some sensational cases, 40 toxicology specimens, 50 weapons and 30 charts. It is the constant endeavor of the department staff to keep on updating the museum as and when interesting case/specimen is available.
